Andy Richardson was educated at Magdalen College School followed by an honours degree in agriculture. He joined BOCM Paul in 1989 where he held several commercial role and in 2000, he joined Volac, the dynamic UK dairy nutrition business, becoming director of corporate affairs and sustainability before leaving in February 2023. Since then, he has been a Partner at EFFP, the supply chain consultancy, and was appointed Chair of the ready meal company Frive in June 25. He has been member of a number of influential Government advisory groups including the Food and Drink Council and Chair of Food & Drink Wales and was awarded an MBE for his services to the food and drink industry in July 25.
